While the holidays are a time for giving, the motivation to play Lottery games tends to be all about the potential for getting.  The Colorado Lottery wanted to make sure they were still top of mind during the biggest gifting season of the year. We flipped the script and tapped into the spirit of the season and put the focus on giving.

There are a lot of people out there that give during the holiday season, and give way more than they get -- imagine all the people working behind the scenes to make the holidays feel magical -- the people working extra late night shifts wrapping, packing, shipping and tracking all the gifts. To say thank you, we gave them a gift back and surprised holiday workers at their job with Colorado Scratch Offs, aka, a little dose of surprise, delight and hope. 

Point of purchase displays, billboards, bus ads and in-store POP displays reminded people that Giving is Sweet.

The TV spot pays homage to those who work behind the scenes to help make the holidays feel magical and shows the simplest way to give a merry thank you. 

In short, 1-minute videos we celebrated the people who make the joy of the holidays possible and gave them back a little joy with free Scratch lottery tickets.
